Our AGM was held on Friday 10th June 2011. As well as all our leaders and members of the Committee and all our scouts and parents, we were joined by Martin Platt, District Commissioner.
It was a very successful evening and we hope you all enjoyed it. We were able to show parents just how much we manage to achieve at our weekly meetings, demonstrating various activities from all sections. We also displayed lots of photos and slide shows of all the activity days and camps we have done throughout the last year.
You could see how proud the young people were to be awarded with their badges and trophies at the presentation. Not only were they proud to receive their own badges, the hall was filled with applause, cheers and laughter as the awards were given out to their fellow scouts.
The Cubs won awards from their camp last month, for canoeing; orienteerng; best camper; best shooter; most tidy tent.
Five of our scouts were presented with their Gold Chief Scout Award - a great achievement for the young people and the group - WELL DONE!!
